Born in San Sebastián de La Gomera (1997), Eladio B. Aguilar Starts in music at 10 years old at the music school of his hometown (Asociación musical Ntra. Sra. De Guadalupe). He starts at the choir with maestra Laura González and continuous with the trumpet with maestro Marcos Luján, entering as a member at the Wind orchestra of  San Sebastián in 2008. With the Choir, he travelled to Italy in 2012 to participate at EUROPA CANTAT, and with the wind orchestra he has travelled to a different places of the Canary Islands. When he finished all the solfeggio courses at the local music school, he decided to go to study Trumpet at the Professional Conservatory of music of Tenerife (2015-2020) with professor Jonay Martín.

 

He was a member of Mariachi Aluce (2013-2015). During his period in Tenerife he has participated in a different concerts and performances with different wind orchestras of the Island (Banda filarmónica de los Realejos, Banda de música de Arona, Banda de música San Sebastián de Tejina…) Also, he has been a member of music groups like Fanfarria de Los Silos or Charanga Valenciana, with which he participated at the Fallas festivity (Valencia) in 2017. In 2021, Eladio founded the Chamber Orchestra "MONS IGNEUS" in Tenerife, Canary Islands.

In 2022, Eladio graduates in classical composition at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater under the professors René Eespere and Toivo Tulev. In the same year, he became the chief and artistic director of the Tallinn International Youth Orchestra - TIYO. At his first concert, he premiered the arrangement by Colin Price of "Cantos Canarios" by Teobaldo Power. He also performed "Amor Brujo" by Manuel de Falla with the soloist Heljä Viirakivi. In the same year, he founded Revelia String Ensemble (Tallinn). He premiered with the ensemble, at the Great Hall of Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, 7 compositions of students from the same Academy.

           

Eladio Aguilar has been formed in a different music fields: 

  • Performer (trumpetist):  he has participated in a different festivals, concerts, events and masterclasses taught for this instrument in a national and international ambit. His principal professors Marcos Luján (La Gomera) and Jonay Martín (Tenerife). Additionally he has perfected his trumpet skills with professors like Óscar Martín, Christian Ibáñez, Miguel Cervera, Joachim Spieth, y César Asensi. In 2022, he graduated in trumpet studies at the Tenerife professional Conservatory under Jonay Martín.

  • Conducting: He has conducted the Wind Orchestra of Arona,  the Wind Orchestra of Asociación musical Ntra. Sra. De Guadalupe,  the Wind orchestra of Professional Conservatory of music of Tenerife and the municipal Wind Orchestra of Morata de Tajuña. He has participated in courses and masterclasses of orchestral conducting with international maestros like José Varela, Colin Price, Arvo Volmer, Paul Mägi, and Vello Pähn. In addition he enlarges his conducting skills with Choral conducting courses with maestros like Nuria Fernández or Paulo Vassallo. He has been direct student of maestro Toomas Kapten (Estonia) and Miguel Romea (Madrid). He is studying the master degree in Orchestral conducting with professors Paul Mägi and Arvo Volmer (Estonia).

  • Composition: he studied composition in Tenerife with professor Milena Perisic (Croatia) extending his educarion with composer Michał Moc (Polonia). As well, he has premiered some pieces like the pasodoble ‘Recuerdos’(2017),  ‘Quintet in E’ (2019) and ‘SADREUC’ (2019) and also, he collaborated with ensembles such as Fractales Ensemble (Belgium). Now a days, he is graduated in Classical composition (2022) by the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater under the professors René Eespere and Toivo Tulev (Estonia).

 

At present he is chief and artistic director of the Chamber Orchestra "MONS IGNEUS", Revelia String Ensemble, and Tallinn International Youth Orchestra - TIYO
